For information on how to carry out the installation and connection of LED strip can be found in this article.

LED lights can consume electricity 12V or 24V and operate from 220V. Power supply for such devices is designed on the principle of pulse transformation and designed for power from 30 to 400W. The most common is the LED Light Strip 12V DC adapter plug which does not require special skills and knowledge.

To power the device, you must attach the appropriate contacts with the correct polarity. Connecting the LED strip 220 different colors can be achieved by a special controller that connects to the negative power supply and the corresponding contacts of each tape. To fix the diodes in the right place, even the most ordinary double-sided tape can be used.

The tape is most often available in a five-meter coil with a multiplicity of cutting width of three diodes. This rate may vary depending on the density and placement of light bulbs which way planned connection LED strip. 15 m - is the maximum allowable length of the section with a serial connection. To illuminate the ceiling in an ordinary residential area quite enough three coils. BTW, you can select the 240V adapter plug at Banggood for high quality and reasonable prices.
