Violent! Why do Chinese FPV players describe drones like this? -part 1
The China Drone Open is the most widely fetched FPV competition in the world.
You can imagine a scene where you drive Tesla on a straight highway and speed up to 120 kilometers. The strong push back brings a solid speed experience. However, if you have an FPV (First Person View) drone player around you, they will tell you that your experience is not "Fast And Furious." They experience wearing the first-angle glasses at a speed of 180 kilometers per hour, or flying to the high-rise, then the throttle is closed, watching the aircraft naturally stall, from which to experience the feeling of jumping down at high altitude.
FPV is a basic operation mode of drone competition. The wireless camera return equipment is installed on the drone. The operator can see the front picture of the drone while flying through the helmet on the ground, and then control the drone to advance. Of course, it requires a very dependable fpv antenna . By using the FPV mode to maneuver the drone, the pilot and the audience no longer watch the drone from a distance, but can see the world from the perspective of the drone.
The FPV drone race is evolving into a high-energy sport. This is also a very novel sporting event, known as the F1 in the air, the fastest flying speed can exceed 180 km / h, the driver can experience the immersive flight fun and excitement. Searching on Google reveals that before 2014, the word "drone racing" didn't even exist at all, but the rise of the sport was amazing.
In April 2015, the first Santa Cruz FPV (First Person View) drone competition was supported by the American Model Association; in July, the first National UAV Championship was held in Sacramento, California; and in March 2016, it was supported by the Dubai Royal Family. The total prize money of the World Drone Grand Prix has reached US$1 million, attracting professional flying players from all over the world. After that, the sport is popular around the world.
Since the beginning of this year, there have been nearly 100 related events held in China. The organizers have both private clubs and national mass sports organizations with the independent legal personality such as the China Aviation Sports Association.
